Wang Lidong is the reigning King of the Grasslands in Xiwuqi. Last July, he grabbed the crown at the expense of Germany's Hauke Stockrahm with a great combination of skill, experience and bravery. Hailing from Daqing in Heilongjiang, Wang Lidong is not big in size but his sporting achievements most surely are. Time for a brief Q&A.

Altansukh Altanzul saves yellow in awesome thriller

Altansukh Altanzul has successfully defended his Genghis Khan MTB title by only 41 seconds following an incredible challenge by stage winner Tugulduur Tuulkhangai. Both Mongolians raided the grasslands like mad in a man-to-man battle that late in the race looked to be going Tugu's way. But Altanzul showed his warrior's heart and reduced the gap in the final 10 km to claim his second overall title.

Tuulkhangai hits back with a sprint win

With thunder and lightning on the horizon, Tugulduur Tuulkhangai outsprinted a group of six at the Yurt City and put the pressure back on yellow jersey Altansukh Altanzul (4th) before the big finale tomorrow. What is most amazing is that Tugu rode the whole race without a front wheel brake.
