As announced previously, the 2012 Genghis Khan MTB Adventure and Grassland Marathon has undergone a bit of a face-lift with a lot of previously unexplored terrain now part of the three-day event. The new courses for the Grassland Marathon (42k) and the three MTB stages have been officially confirmed and the maps can now be consulted in the respective website sections.
After careful consideration of all factors involved, the Organising Committee of the 2012 Genghis Khan Festival has decided to change the location of the Race Office to the second "event hotel", i.e. the Electricity Hotel. All participants in this year's GKF will thus be kindly requested to collect their number bibs and participant goodie bags in the lobby of this hotel. The Race Office will also feature all competition information, start and result lists.
More partners for the 2012 Genghis Khan MTB Adventure and Grassland Marathon: Chiru Bikes and Raidlight are joining the big Inner Mongolia event and will provide high-end prizes to the best mountainbikers and marathon runners respectively, as well as a functional gift for ALL participants!
