Q1：If I take the night flight to Xilinhot, how can I get to the hotel I live in Xiwuqi? Can I get my number bibs and other event stuff as I arrive？
A：We do not suggest you take the night flight in case of delay and which also give you less time to have rest for the race the next day. We offer airport shuttle service, which is free to TP-buyers, and non-TP-buyers could buy it in the optional service when registering online. Airport shuttle bus will first drop people off at Xiwuqi Hotel, then Electricity Hotel. The Race Office is located at the Electricity Hotel, and where you can pick up your race goodies the next day. WARNING: Runners who take the Friday night flight with China Eastern MUST warn us in advance of their late arrival so we can arrange handing over the race goodie bag upon arrival in Xiwuqi. The Race Office will not be open before the start of the Grassland Marathon in the early hours of Saturday!
Q2：Can I buy TP for my family members who don’t run/ ride？
A：Yes, there is a registration type named “Travel Package Only” which is exclusively offered for people who don't compete. Q3：I want to stay both nights in yurt, is that possible？
A：Sorry, yurt only opens on Saturday (Jul 6).
Q4：How can I arrange my sightseeing in Xiwuqi？
A：The event arena includes Nadamu square, the Mongolia Khan City and the culture square. You can take our bus to these places if you have bought a travel package (check the timetable in Travel--Travel Package--Transport). Otherwise you could take local taxi to the near scenic sites.
Q5：I have bought single room service, can I live alone in yurt？
A：Yes, live alone in yurt is only available to those choosing to live alone in hotel room.
Q6：Can I rent a mountain bike in Xiwuqi？
A：Nordic Ways provides bike rental (including helmets) service from July 4 to July 7. If you need one, remember to choose the bike size and rent dates when registering online. The number of rental bikes is not unlimited: first come, first serve.
Q7：What equipment should be prepared for the travel？
A: Travel documents and Passport/ID. Long-sleeved jacket (The temperature might be as low as 16 degrees Celsius during the night and up to 30 degrees Celsius during the day). Helmet (if you participant in MTB race), Sun block, Sun glasses, Mosquito repellent, Aspirin and other medicine, Hygiene articles etc. Flashlight (if you are staying at yurt).
